Good League Hence: For the Restoration of Homesteading
Homesteading is gaining traction as a meaningful, multigenerational way of life. The pressures of modern life have forced us to take another look at our relationship to the land and community.
Good League Hence (GLH) advocates for an alternative economy and culture via consultations, educational resources, homecrafted products and events.

What We Do
As advocates for homesteading, we organize community events, consultations, and work to foster a parallel economy. At events, you can learn relevant skills and information to aid in your homesteading journey. Consultations are for individuals, families, churches, guild and villages looking to transition to homesteading and build an economy of goods.
GLH provides reading lists, income manuals and helps you discover the thinkers and doers of the homesteading world. Books, podcasts, articles and more can be found on our education page.

Economy and Culture
GLH aims to grow an alternative economy and culture that serves local and regional homesteaders, farmers, tradesmen, artisans, inventors, and merchants.

Growth
We offer consultations to those seeking a healthier life for families in cohesive communities-- including guilds, churches, parishes, villages, and towns.

See LocationsOrigin of the Name
GLH takes its name from a verse in the Christmas Carol "Good King Wenceslas," capturing the moment when his squire identifies a yonder peasant who "lives a good league hence underneath the mountain, right against the forest fence by St. Agnes Fountain." GLH helps neighbors, no matter how far away.
