Good King Wenceslas Candle

19th century woodcut depicting the story of a tenth-century king of Bohemia who goes on a journey, braving harsh winter weather, to give alms to a poor peasant on the Feast of Stephen. To this day, St. Wenceslas is venerated as the Patron of the Czech Republic, as well as a patron of GLH.
