The Second Battle of Vienna

The Second Battle of Vienna took place on September 12, 1863, after two months of siege on the city of Vienna from the Ottoman Empire. This battle marks the first time the Holy Roman Empire and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth cooperated as a military unit against the Ottomans. Depicted are the Winged Hussars, and elite horseback division of the Polish army.
